It's about time I get to posting on these forums.
My name is Amy, I'm 28, and I have loved this movie FOREVER. I remember when I was pumped by the preview commercials on television, and finally got to see it opening weekend with my friends and family. It is the first movie that I saw more than once in a theaters actually. I bought it on VHS when it came out, and as soon as I could snag it up on DVD I was thrilled. I called up my best friend, who is also a fan, and told her, "GUESS WHAT I FOUND TODAY???" XD This movie has inspired me so much, and in so many ways. It inspired my first novel series, which were crudely written chapter books created by a fifth grader. **My brother, sister and I had many roleplays based on this movie. From those roleplays I wrote my stories, which were chock full of crossovers. This actually is the reason why I fell in love with writing my own stories, and though it started as fanfiction, it has lead me up to the original novel that I am completing today. If it gets published, I will have to throw a kudos to this movie. It began the domino effect that has lead me creatively here today.
So yeah, I think I've ranted long enough. I hope to contribute some more art work as soon as I can! But in the meantime here is an oldie but goodie that pays tribute to my favorite movie.
