Hey I'm a newcomer to the forums but the SMB film is still in my memory and it will not disappear.

Welcome to the board! The memory of the movie has stuck with us all, some more than others. This is a place to relive those memories and foster them... We've been doing a lot to bring the movie back to the public consciousness, as you may have noted via the coverage we received from Kotaku, AICN and other film/gaming websites.

After having taken a look at your site I can see that you're an artist. It's good to have artists around since the movie is such a richly unique take on the game. It's rife with visuals that can be explored in art, as you can tell by our fan art page. It'd be good to see you take a stab at the film in that regard sometime.

Anyways, it's good that you found your way here. Feel free to check out the site and read around on the forums. You're welcome to post in any topic, no matter how old, as long as you feel you have something to add to the discussion. There's always something to be said about Super Mario Bros.

Thanks and my fanart page aka DA(Deviantart) page is only for my fanart stuff but anything that is original and for sale will be put on there, my website and any other sites I use to get the word out on my project. Anyway I have been trying to get into film since I did go to art school in majoring in Media arts and Animation but the main problems that I have are money, gear and a team but that doesn't mean I'm not going to do filming I do have a youtube account and I have done short videos so maybe in the future....

Check out marioblaster's Mushroom Madness topic. It's the first fan film for the movie, and one that has given us high hopes for continued exploration of the film's universe. marioblaster has done some amazing work with props and effects.
