I saw the film on its opening weekend. I loved it! I understand some of the criticisms I've seen listed so far, but none of them bothered me in the slightest. I think it was a very smart move on the filmmakers' part to keep the story relatively small and focused.
Just like the original Toy Story did, Wreck-It Ralph established its main characters, the world they live in, and a set of "rules" that world operates under. Hopefully the film will do well enough that we'll get a sequel where they can just go all-out and do more things.

That's what I'm hoping. The sequel could do so much more, especially as they've stated an interest to explore console and PC gaming.

Eh it happens, atleast you saw the movie without not liking it. I really enjoyed it, although Mario wasn't there I did enjoy his references. I am hoping they make a sequel and can afford to bring the Bros in this one, since they have probably made back way more than what the budget was. I didn't get to see it in 3D either, I think I would have liked it even more that way because a lot of it fealt like it was meant for 3D.

I watched it for the first time at home a couple weeks ago. It was good, but the moment the act of "going Turbo" was mentioned I put two-and-two together and realized that it would be important to the plot. Because of that,
King Candy reveal as Turbo wasn't a complete surprise.Still, I really liked it. Looking forward to the sequel.

I recently moved to Texas where I meant to see it with my girlfriend, but we ended of seeing The Hobbit instead. Now that I'm back in California I still haven't seen it, but I fully intend to!

Well you should! I saw it last month and I LOVED it! I bought the DS game the very next day!
And just last Monday I was lucky enough to pick up the Wii one, and the 3DS one on Tuesday. I have completed all versions bar the 3DS one.

Kotaku
has posted a mockumentary parodying the Donkey Kong high score documentary
The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters. It's a humorous take on Garlan Hulse, the former child record holder of Fix-It Felix, Jr. on his quest to reclaim the title of high-score holder from his former best friend.

Hey all! I'm back! (college has had me so busy I just never had time to visit and for awhile I just plain forgot about this place.) Anywho... I recently saw the movie. I liked it for the most part, but I was somewhat disappointed. It had a great first half then when Ralph got to Sugar Rush it started going downhill and he took a backseat and it became the Vanellope movie. I really loved the interplay with Felix and Calhoun. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't perfect. I wish there was a little more with the Bad Anon group and had every villain talk about there troubles.
