Ghostbusters: The Video Game

Postby Phlibbit » Mon Jun 15, 2009 5:16 pm

Now I know that Zack is a big Ghostbusters fan. Anyone else getting the game tomorrow (6/16)? I sure am, for the 360. Dan Ackroyd PERSONALLY called me today, letting me know to pick it up tomorrow.

I'm really excited about it. Now, if there could only be a cool version of the SMB Movie put into a game...

I payed for the rest of mine today and will pick it up tomorrow morning. Of course :D I know at Game Stop the display box says "T-Shirt with Reserved Order" I wonder if they ran out or will wait to give it to me tomorrow. Hmmm I'll have to ask.

Well it's supposed to be included when you pick up the game. When I preordered it a while back, they didn't even know about the T-Shirt, only the in-game bonus costume thingy. But I really want my randomly-sized XXL Ghostbusters T-Shirt that I'll never wear! You know, how they get like, 50 XXL T-Shirts and nothing else?

Got my game and shirt! For Wii. Beat it on easy not too long after it came out like everyone lol going back and filling in the blanks of art pages and scans. I have like 98% complete. Then next up on the difficulty level. Overall a very fun game that will please long time GB fans.

Yeah I got my 360 version and beat the hell out of it. Amazing game. I loved it to death; I dunno what problems some reviewers had. I looove me some Ghostbusters.

Here is a cool tidbit.

In the 360 version of the game, go to the second floor in the firehouse. There is a pink piece of paper with a drawing on it. It says "To Uncle Egon, From Ed".

That is a cameo to a fan film that I helped make back in 2007.

I have talked with the lead character animator for the game and he really liked our fan film that we did. So he included a "nod" in the game for us.

The fan film is "Return of the Ghostbusters". The drawing is referring to Ed Spengler, nephew to Egon Spengler.

Pretty cool.

So, I got the Ghostbusters game, a few weeks ago, I loved every single bit of it, to references, to the new characters, theres even some old "friends" who are here for the second match I suppose.
Isn't this a little feminine?

Yes. I know. It was my ex wife's.

But you wear this stuff?!

Yeah on an occasion we have a date.
