John leguizamo's Tales of a Ghetto Clown documentary

Postby Movieguy » Fri Jul 13, 2012 10:13 pm

I accidently switched it to my local channel 7 and I happened to come across a doctumentary about his career and yes they bring up mario brothers.

It's on Kuht I am in texas so I do not know if this is nation wide. Yet if it's rebroadcasted tune in. Or if you've seen it before tell me is there something for bob hopkins. So This accidental mistake is awesome, since I came across this documentary on total mistake.

Oh and it's from PBS.

I subscribe to the newsletter for John Leguizamo's website, so I read about this some time ago. They launched a Kickstarter project to help complete filming and editing for the documentary, which was fully funded not too long ago. I'm actually surprised to hear that they released the finished film so soon.

Can you say how long or in-depth the portion on Super Mario Bros. is?

It's about an our to and hour and a half long film. The mario movie is mentioned for a brief moment really, heck he doesn't even mention iceage but he mentions mario bros.

Though the documentary is more about his career and current comedy show. It's cool to know where Luigi/Mike started out. Also it's nice to see he still does stuff.

That's probably because his character in the "Ice Age" movies isn't as big a part as the starring role of Luigi in Mario Bros...
What would you do without your big brother?
I'd like to give it a shot and find out.
