I seen an article on IGN.com this morning that lead me to a website called RiffTrax.com. Well, these guys are doing a pole for worst movies and our Super Mario Bros. is on the list. So, if you really wanna show some support let's try and "stack the deck" so our movie isn't on the list when they're done taking votes. So go vote for the other turds on their list and leave our Super Mario Bros. out of it!

Uh, dude. The RiffTrax people are the guys who did the TV show "Mystery Science Theater 3000," and to have them riff "Super Mario Bros." would be a great honor. Think of it as a celebrity roast. I actually voted the movie as "the worst" ten times, trying to make them do a Riff of it and I encourage you to do the same. Besides, they riff other movies, too-- including Oscar winning movies like "Casablanca." So relax.

Oh I'm not overreacting I just wanted to bring it to people's attention so that if they cared they could participate. I've been putting up with the negative talk since I seen it in theaters in '93.
It honestly doesn't bother me, I'm not one of those obsessive fans. I'd just like to see it not get on their list of worst movies of all time. What I find funny is that you never hear any of these people or sites complain about Double Dragon and that to me is probably the biggest video game movie turd I've ever seen. Not really a big fan of the RE films either.

Look guy, I'm the biggest fan of the Mario movie there is. I had myself legally ordained as a minister of the First Church of the Choked City, for me, it isn't just a movie but a way of life. But MST3K is my favorite TV show, and for those guys to riff my favorite movie is one of the highest honors there is.

MST3K is an awesome show, but the fact is I personally don't see them getting to do their "roast" on it for two reasons 1) It's a Disney owned movie. And the big reason is ol' number 2) The Big N! Nintendo is pretty tight on it's properties and I don't see them handing out Mario for very cheap, hell even Disney didn't wanna fork over enough money to have either of the Mario Bros. to be it Wreck-It Ralph.
There's a chance they may make it in the sequel since now Disney knows it's a cash cow and their gonna milk it big time. So they'll be more liberal with the budget now. Who knows though it may happen, but I'm not gonna count on it with the Big N lurking in the shadows with their ninja lawyers just waiting for a reason to strike lol

The fact that it's a Disney owned movie doesn't matter. Rifftrax works on a weird system that lets them riff any movie they want.

That only happened once, and he said Coolio doesn't even care anymore about it. Probably because he recieved checks from Amish Paradise. He does ask permission though.
