A Retrospect + Music Video Preview

Hello everyone, been a long time hasn't it?
Man, I haven't been on in almost 3 years, and it's incredible seeing how much has happened to the community since.
Life has been very busy since adulthood started to really kick in, but I haven't been oblivious to all the screenings and events that have been arranged here and there. Most of all though, I heard recently from several Facebook posts that the film is finally receiving a Blu-ray release, not only that, but a proper one with all the bells and whistles.
It's really astonishing how the movie has survived and grown over the years. In 1993, despite how young I was I can vividly recall the constant adverts on T.V. and the packed movie theatre. After the release though the film fell into oblivion for over a decade. I would mention it occasionally to my video-gaming pals if they had seen the film, but most of them weren't aware it happened. I would lend them my taped VHS copy since the official release was scarce, despite the few rental shops that carried it. Only in the years of YouTube did interest in the movie surface again, and became semi-viral due to the mystique of it's sole existence. Most of all, it brought together this community, finally uniting those children who saw the movie during it's nadir years, and many thereafter.
That being said, to celebrate upon this high point in the film's history, I decided to use my free time to remake one of my older videos of an "Almost Unreal" music-video,which at the time was made using Windows Movie Maker due to a lack of resources. This time around I'm using Sony Vegas, to make a much higher-quality version then before. Here's a rough preview of it so far:
Of course it's work-in-progress and will be trimmed a bit more precisely upon finishing and uploading. Phew, well it's been a long post, but I don't believe I will be able to be active much still.
I wanted to be here to state my support and share my outlook on all these years. It truly has been a long journey, not just for the movie, but for Mario as well.
