Yeee.
Over on Wikipedia, they quoted Bob Hoskins from an online interview he just had with a paper called "The Guardian," and one question prompted him to say something about the Super Mario Bros. movie.
It's not exactly flattering... and it's not really clean, either.
You can find it in the "Criticism and Impact" section of the article here.
Hope there's not an issue with linking it, considering pretty much any idiot can find it on their own, so I figured this might save them the trouble. If there is a problem, I would respectfully request a mod/admin to edit out the link.

Now that is lol material.
He says, ""The worst thing I ever did? Super Mario Brothers. It was a f***ing nightmare. The whole experience was a nightmare. It had a husband-and-wife team directing, whose arrogance had been mistaken for talent. After so many weeks their own agent told them to get off the set! F***ing nightmare. F***ing idiots"

Radioactive waste is bad
Yeah, most of the actors I've seen that have made post-movie quotes have said they've hated being a part of the movie. John Leguizamo has a autobiography out now, and there's a small section in it about the SMB Movie. He mentions in it how Hoskins hated the directors, and how they'd just go together and drink their sorrows away while making the movie
