A place for those who "Trust the Fungus"

Hey guys, I just found the Siskel & Ebert video review on YouTube! I've never seen it before until then. Their thoughts on the movie are what you'd expect though. Still a nice find, however.

Ooh, they hated it, I can't say I agree with that, but I must say, they hit the proverbial nail on the head in terms of the problems the movie has...

Fortunately it can still be seen at their At The Movies archive page even if it was off youtube. Though it is admittedly a bit depressing to watch though remembering some of their other reviews, they even seem to dislike a lot of generally popular and well received big movies too so critics don't usually mean a lot for me. Man I still remember seeing it in theaters and I think watching the review when it came on. My mom used to watch Siskel and Ebert pretty regularly.

I actually just found this too, their "Worst Movies of 1993" they show it briefly at the beginning and then at about 6:50. Warning, the quality isn't too great but to be expected from an ancient review like this. They like it as much as they did before lol

Granted the movie does have it's problems, we surely still hold it in a special place

Aww hell, that really sucks. It's the first movie they even mention! Interesting to note that Hocus Pocus is also in the top 3 worst for them for the year too. And Roxette was really that upset that their song was on SMB and not Hocus Pocus? lol.

This guy on youtube had the nerve to say Super Mario Bros was the number 1 worst VG movie ever made. He had the balls to say and quote THERE'S NO BULLET BILLS. I called him out for it, since it's obvious that he doesn't watch or play the movies and games he reviews. You guys might know him as the IRATEGAMER, guys a real douchebag, he steals everything from Angry Video Game Nerd.
