I always kinda wished the end of the movie would have showed Toad changed back.

I agree, before the Bros. left they should have re-evolved Toad. If anybody has ever seen Mojo Nixon in the movie called BUTTCRACK, where he plays a priest, he really is hilarious.

Will have to check that out. I guess it might seem a little odd that the King changed back but no one else but that would be a huge ordeal. It would be fine to not see the Goombas turned back, just Toad seemed kind of key, like to see him one more time as himself. Ah well.

On somewhat unrelated stuff, it does seem a little more realistic of a threat the way the Goombas appear as an army rather than a legion of little brown mushroom heads you can jump on. Granted the height of Mario's popularity was the right time to make a movie if they were going to. I guess it goes back to whether people can accept the reimagining of Mario's world.

I just watched parts a minute ago and other than some tiny things, everything does make sense and is fun the way it was reimagined as a "Cyber Thriller" as some people have said. Funny thought of in the police car when Mario says "let's hit the bricks" meaning to get out of there, though his video game character does hit bricks
