Looks like the commercial section isn't up and running yet, but I was wondering this anyway:

Does anyone remember a commercial for the movie where they played the song "Jump (for my Love)"?

Tried YouTube, but turned up zilch.

And of course, like any good movie trailer which uses mainstream music, I don't think it was anywhere to be found in the film itself. Still, it was a neat ad, as I recall.

Yes, we have this commercial. Media and all its sub-sections will be filled this coming weekend, Trailers and the "Jump" trailer specifically included.

That's so funny you mention this. Like Redstar said, we actually do have this commercial and it'll be posted this weekend. I'm glad you could identify the song! Also, in case you don't remember, this commercial also features sprites from Super Mario World.

Huh, I really don't remember the sprites...

All I remember was clips were shown, it would cut to title screens but would have the Mario sprite from Super Mario World running under the titles and jumping, the song they used was "I've Got the Power" by Snap. It's the only reason that song is on my ipod.

Is this the same commercial? I googled Jump For My Love and that was definitely the song not used.

It's definitely the song on the commercial I'm posting this weekend.

There's also another commercial that's similar, but it features "Super" instead of "Jump" and has Walk the Dinosaur instead--I'll also be posting that one.

Hmm, I could have sworn it was "I've Got the Power". I could be mixing it up with the trailer, I'll have to watch it again lol.

Perhaps there's a third trailer. jka2001 even describes a TV spot somewhat similarly in this thread.

You would be correct. A majority of the other tv spots use "I've got the power." Actually, the trailer uses it as well.
