Wario is a very popular SMB villian next to Koopa, if they were to put him in a sequel to this movie how would you think they would fit him in to the story?
I once had an idea that he could be a clone of Mario but the bad version of him, the only time ive seen Bob Hoskins play a bad guy was in Hook as Smee so im not really sure how good he would be as a villian.

Danny Devito would play Wario and would take over the Mushroom Kingdom (Dinohattan)! Kinda like in Super Mario Land 2

I like the idea of Wario being played by Danny DeVito. Kinda sly take-that at those who think he should have played Mario instead of Hoskins.
My idea was that Scapelli would "become" Wario (not in name, of course) upon being re-evolved into a human. Perhaps the reversion would have side-effects and leave him with some unevolved, "neanderthal man"-like qualities. Scapelli really is a rival plumber to Mario as well as his unscrupulous polar opposite, per the early scripts and to some extent in the finished film.

Or better yet, bring the original Mario back, Captian Lou Albano. (yes i know he's dead but it would have been cool to see Hoskins vs Albano in a sequel)
