A place for those who "Trust the Fungus"

Does anyone know the name of the actor who played the Dinohattan cop that arrested Mario, Luigi, and Toad? He had quite a few lines ("You know the law, Toad!") and was definitely uncredited, but hes always the one cop I remember the most from the movie. He definitely portrayed the "bad cop" persona rather well and set the tone for the aggressiveness of Dinohattan's people.

So does anyone know who he is? I'm willing to bet he's been in other stuff.

According to the article 'THIS CHARLOTTE ACTOR HAS NO PROBLEM STAYING BUSY' in a July, 1992 issue of The Charlotte Observer, actor Steven Dean Davis played a police officer in the film. After contacting him in regards to a possible interview, Steven stated that he was originally supposed to be the arresting officer that would then also drive Mario and Luigi to the police station and book them. However, insurance issues forced him to be replaced.

So, I don't know who his replacement was, but I do know that Mr. Davis was the original actor that played that officer.
