What ever did he do to deserve THAT?!

Well firstly... my brother and I REALLY do not get along, he seriously supports some (if not all) of the nasty things some people say about me - and I will especially NEVER forgive him for when in 2004, for no reason other than to phone his then-girlfriend he purposely muted the sound on the TV while I was watching Street Fighter! He is thus not allowed around whenever Street Fighter airs - so yes the foot is down to demand he stays away on Christmas Eve and also New Year's Eve!

Plus he's usually very grumpy and a real 'Bah, humbug!' at Christmas - so is having him over for Christmas dinner really worth the risk?

Anyway, I went over to my parents' house on the supposed 'end of the world' day because I promised mum I'd put some presents under the family's Christmas tree (it's one of my jobs for my family's Christmas  ) - but unfortunately my brother was there, and he was really mean to me. He... let's just say he said some very sensitive things which would make my cyberbullies proud!

Luckily my parents were on my side. I did phone mum to alert her of my brother being there, and yes I did heed her advice to keep out of his way - but HE wouldn't keep out of MINE, and he kept on saying such horrible things to me. I did however only barely 'defeat' him - I was only barely able enough to fight back and convince him to get out of the house and back to his own apartment, and when he left I phoned my dad and he was very sorry to hear about what happened, he was totally on my side and said the things my brother said to me were 'disgraceful'. He agreed to phone my brother and tell him off for it, but he later told me when he did so my brother cut him off and ended the call.

My parents also supported my decision to take back my brother's Christmas present - we all agree he doesn't deserve it. I thus used the Gold Coins (well you heard this term coming!) to buy myself a copy of Puzzle Quest 2 - very good game, my character in it is an Assassin.

But yes... *puts on Dennis Hopper voice* Take this... spiteful young man, to the Devo Chamber!

There was no bullet to dodge except the hysteria some people made over an ancient Native American prophecy written a rock. Several people committed suicide before the day, taking their pets with them because they thought it would spare them the pain of whatever might happen on "doomsday."

One of my friends was a 2012 "doomsday" believer who committed suicide because he thought the world was going to end, I want to hear, nothing more outside my comments here, about this horrible hoax that claimed the lives of several people and pets.

Of course there wasnt Im sorry but I believe only idiots believed such none sense.

GASP! Bastard! Just kidding.

Plus he's usually very grumpy and a real 'Bah, humbug!' at Christmas - so is having him over for Christmas dinner really worth the risk?

Eh, you should be the bigger man (or woman in this case), just because he's a jerk doesn't mean he's not family.

Anyway, I went over to my parents' house on the supposed 'end of the world' day because I promised mum I'd put some presents under the family's Christmas tree (it's one of my jobs for my family's Christmas  ) - but unfortunately my brother was there, and he was really mean to me. Eh, I'm not gonna press on it, I'll take your word for it.

Luckily my parents were on my side. I did phone mum to alert her of my brother being there, and yes I did heed her advice to keep out of his way - but HE wouldn't keep out of MINE, and he kept on saying such horrible things to me. He agreed to phone my brother and tell him off for it, but he later told me when he did so my brother cut him off and ended the call.

Again, I'll just take your word for it.

My parents also supported my decision to take back my brother's Christmas present - we all agree he doesn't deserve it. I thus used the Gold Coins (well you heard this term coming!)

Doesn't make it less groan worthy. Also, that's a pretty dick move to pull. Especially on Christmas time!

to buy myself a copy of Puzzle Quest 2 - very good game, my character in it is an Assassin.

But yes... *puts on Dennis Hopper voice* Take this... spiteful young man, to the Devo Chamber!

It's a long story about what those people said 1upmushroom - but believe me when I tell you, my brother has always known what buttons to push with me. Not to mention he's always been one hell of a troublemaker - including stealing not only my money, but the parents' money as well!

And I wasn't kidding about when he muted the sound while I was watching Street Fighter back in 2004. I was really upset about that, so yes the parents grounded him for it! And even if he is family, we can't risk him spoiling our Christmas spirit all because we share the same blood - we all know this runs the risk of blood being SHED...

As for taking his present back being a really 'dick' move, well again my parents and I feel he doesn't deserve the present after what happened the other day. Who cares if he in turn takes back whatever he has bought for me, I've tried many times to be nice to that little fungus but he takes it and throws it back in my beautiful face!

But yes I did consider instead getting him a lump of coal instead -heck my parents actually got him one, once!- but I don't know too many coal mines or wherever where I can find one. My family's fire is an electric/gas one, by the way.

Well people...this is it. My 1000th post.

Is it frivolous? Yes, is it even not worth mentioning to a degree? Oh you have no idea. But to me, this post count proves how long I've been here, to me it shows my growth or in other terms my "Character Development". When I joined I was in many ways, a boy. I talked as in my head were in my ass more than once and if you read my earlier posts you'd swear you'd hear a high pitched annoying little boy's voice.

However now I can safely say I've grown up, though many would argue I still need some improving before I can claim to be an adult.

With that out of the way I have this to say...thanks guys. Thanks for the decent memories you've given me. I've had a lot of fun here and I hope to have more fun in the future.

Cheers.

And also, how does the mod system work around here? Are people just randomly selected as mods? Is there an application form or something? I'm just curious, seeing as how ultimateemail5000 suddenly became a mod. It's just odd to me.

It's a long story, don't worry about it. There are no applications, though-- I can tell you that much. It doesn't work that way.

The forum only allows promotion of members 18+. From there we decide based on how long the user has been a member, how frequently they post and how involved they are in discussions.

So as most of you know I made a move to WA and i accomplished nothing living here. Me and my girlfriendhave been living in hwll with her family here and we are finally getting out next Saturday returning to Ohio. I got a job transfer, they called me back 5 hours after the phone interview. I will not be online for a period of time. I hope to come back and see lots of updates on this site and many more. I enjoy this forum it is like a online home. I will be on this week but starting March 2 I will be gone for a long time. But as soon as I get internet again I will be visiting th forums like I always do.

My car overheated, leaving me without transportation for at least several weeks. I had to call into work, which I hate doing. This is the third car of mine to overheat... Geez, I wonder where the fault lies?

I'm going to need to take out a loan to get a new car. I hope I can just make it to work.

There's been some issues with the site, lately-- it's nothing to be concerned about, it's probably just a false positive on your antivirus. I had warnings and stuff too, for awhile.

My girlfriend and I wiped out on our scooter last night heading home from work. I took a lane-change too quickly and got the wobbles going over one of the divider bumps, taking us right into the curb.

I only have a few minor scrapes, but my girlfriend's shoe was completely shredded and she hurt her toe badly. It's not broken, but she may be out of work for a few days.

So, I'm up. I'm exhausted. My knee hurts and my toes are ridiculous. Redstar and I wiped out on his moped last night. I'm a bit banged up but he's pretty good. It could have been much worse. My shoe is done for and my toe nail is well on its way. We're both okay! I'll post some gnarly pictures of my toes lol

For tohse of you who don't know I've actually been writing an EarthBound fanfiction at the Starmen.Net forums under the same user name. Here is that for those who are interested. http://forum.starmen.net/forum/Fan/Writ ... ost1950965

Just to be clear I'm 1up-Mushroom.

Other than that, I have nothing to report on.
Isn't this a little feminine?

Yes. I know. It was my ex wife's.

But you wear this stuff?!

Yeah on an occasion we have a date.
