Re: Lupin the 3rd
It's still out of character though. I don't know maybe it's because I didn't reall care for the different characterization in CoC but it kind of bothered me.
Isn't this a little feminine?
Yes. I know. It was my ex wife's.
But you wear this stuff?!
Yeah on an occasion we have a date.

I understand that, a lot of fans of LuPin think the same, but those who aPPreciate the manga enjoy it. I susPect that he is a different LuPin in CoC. green vs red showed that. it basicly took every character design from the other series, made them all wanted, saying there was Lupins all over the world, but only one really existed as the real Lupin. Zenigata even mentions all the countrys he went to chasing after him, but no matter what, he still was told another one was somewhere else.
So in the end it came down to a newby Lupin (Yatsuo) and the real Lupin, to have a car chase on a roof the winner was sort of hinted, but never official, because one of them was shot and didnt have a jacket. But they both survived. It's hard to explain, it's just a good movie that shows why Lupin has so many different designs, and appearances. It even has the Yazuo character watching Cagliostro, and a remade version of the theme song from that movie.

Since Funimation holds the home video rights to the new series, I wanted to let those interested that Sonny Strait, will be voicing our favorite thief again, and Michelle Ruff is rumored to come back and voice Fujiko again. She originally voiced Fujiko for Geneon's Red jacket series, and 2003's Mamo movie.
Mamo is schedualed for a re-re-re-release this year, and Green VS Red is also schedualed as well.

Heh-heh...no, nothing like that. Have you ever seen Manos: The Hands of Fate? It's a really, really incompetently-made "horror movie" from the mid-60s. I was riffing on how the "oddly-capitalized P's" in an earlier comment resembled the odd speech patterns of Torgo, the caretaker of the lodge in that movie.
It was parodied on Mystery Science Theater 3000; this is the most-tolerable version of it you'll ever see.

You see, it's funny to me because I've been watching MST3K for years. Torgo talks like that, every other syllable overly pronounced.
What would you do without your big brother?
I'd like to give it a shot and find out.
