Here's a classic I just now got to watching a couple days ago. The Little Shop of Horrors is a 1986 musical film which was based on a broadway musical, which in turn, was based on a 1960 Roger Corman film called The Little Shop of Horrors.

First of all, I actually do recommend the original 1960 film for those who love a good dark comedy and for those who are only familiar of the musical remake.

Now then, the Little Shop of Horrors is about a flower shop employee named Seymour who during a visit at an exotic flower shop come across a mysterious plant. When he first presents the plant, the shop starts to make buisness. However, things get interesting when Seymour realizes the plant must have blood to survive.

And when pricking his fingers no longer does the trick, Seymour realizes he's going to have to kill people in order for the plant to survive. While he's dead set against it at first, the plant (whou by now could talk) promises Seymour fame and fortune if he kills just to feed the plant.

So...yeah this is basically a Deal with the Devil however instead of the actual Devil we have a mutated plant which (spoliers) from outer space. And if you know how most of these types of stories are, you probably already know how this story's gonna end.

One of the reasons I love this movie is the musicals, they are fery fun and awesome. What do you think of Little Shop of Horrors?
