He-Man Fan Work

Postby ultimateemail5000 » Sat Apr 28, 2012 2:32 pm

I had to draw a picture of the live action movie poster in cartoon format so here's the finished product.

I replaced Ork with Wildor cause he was a Orko replacement, and it felt more fitting for a cartoon version.

One more drawing He-Man VS Goku of DBZ

I have been working for the past week on a MOTU crossover with DragonBall Z cartoon that's about 60% done, tracing over actual footage from both series. I'll post it once its done. It's based on the Goku VS He-Man drawing I did. The fight between Goku and He-Man looks awesome. Here's a sneak peak of what's to come of it. This was an early test animation when I first started, which is why his mouth moves when he's not talking.

Here are some screencaps as well, some are unfinished

I have collected a lot of voice talent so far and am hoping to be finished within a week or two. I will update it when it's

I didn't want to announce it as soon as I started to have the fear of it not being complete.

Edit
This project is almost near complete, only some backgrounds and a few bits of animation to go. I'm still looking for the voice of Bulma and Chichi. If any girl out there wants to voice either one of these characters PM me.

The voice for Goku IMO is very awesome. I found someone on youtube who sounds almost like the original Pioneer Goku(s). There is even a semi-celebrity special guest star Kazu Nagahama of Tim and Eric Awesome Show!(Japanese guy opening a door with a samurai sword) and 1000 ways to die! (samurai suicide, and man who bowed himself to death) as a monk who works at the Tournaments. The narrator I found also does a very good job, he sounds like the original Pioneer dub, which really fits this cartoon since it's He-Man and DBZ. A lot of great talent that I feel very fortunate to be working with.

I thought I would show off a preview of my crossover I uploaded last week. Check it out here.

The voice of Man at Arms will be different in the final version, the guy I got for that voice is so good, he actually sounds like the real voice. You can search him on youtube as filmmakerj.
