Yeah, Phlibbit texted me yesterday while I was on the way to work with nothing more than "Horseshit." After asking him what was horseshit he explained to me the rumor about this sequel.

I loved the movie as a kid and would love to see a sequel made, even if they couldn't necessarily get the same actors to return. The film has an interesting history and in a way is a special companion to Super Mario Bros. Both are Disney pictures, after all, and had a love affair with Roxette.

I do agree with Redstar's statement that Hocus Pocus is an interesting companion to Super Mario Bros. If a sequel does get made (especially a theatrical one) I'll be very impressed. If it can happen to Hocus Pocus, hopefully it can eventually happen to Super Mario Bros. as well

I highly doubt that would happen. I mean, they're witches. I think it's more likely to have the old witches training new witches or something. Plus I think that article said the original actresses likely wouldn't return.
