A place for those who "Trust the Fungus"

I am also a big fan of the eighties film 'Little Monsters,' starring Fred Savage, Ben Savage, Daniel Stern, Frank Whaley, Howie Mandel and others. I'd like to know if there are any online communities, like this SMB one, for that film?

Is that the one that ends with the Talking Heads song "Road to Nowhere?" God, did anybody not have that album in the 1980s?

I honestly don't know. I started to go to college for web design, but dropped out after a week to annoy people in the cafeteria for the next four years... So I don't know.

I have vague memories of this movie, but nothing beyond that. I do recall that it had pretty cool makeup design for the monsters.

I've done some looking around and haven't found any longlasting, devoted communities to the film, so you'd be best creating one for yourself if you are so inclined. If you want to create forums then I recommend phpBB, which is basic but widely used and free.

Beyond that your best direction would be creating a dedicated Facebook group and inviting your friends. Upload photos and fan art, start discussions and everything else you can do on a forum.

Finally, you should network. Make posts on the film's IMDb board, create a Twitter page and a group for fan art on deviantART. It'll take time and effort, but ultimately you'll start to build a community with dedicated fans. It's what we've done.
