Nicolas Cage's unhealthy obsession with Satan...

Is it just me, or has any one else noticed that Nicolas Cage seems to have an unhealthy obsession with the dark forces and Satan in general? Let's look at some of his movies...
City of Angels-- He plays a 'fallen angel,' demons are sometimes called 'fallen angels.'
Bringing Out the Dead-- Nick's visions of Hell, centered around Easter.
The Wicker Man-- A movie about a pagan cult.
Ghost Rider-- He makes a pact with Satan in exchange for superpowers.
Knowing-- A movie about the end of days.
The Sorcerer's Apprentice-- Where he plays a wizard well versed in different forms of magic, often associated with deviltry.
Drive Angry-- Nick plays a guy who escapes from Hell for vengeance.
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance-- The continuing adventures of Nick and his devil powers.
...Interestingly enough, they wanted him for the lead part in yet another devil movie, which wound up starring Keanu Reeves, called "Constantine."
Now, I've heard rumors that Nick is a vampire, or some sort of immortal or quasi-immortal being, but I just find it a little weird that he's in all these movies about demons, devils and deviltry.

Eh I think it's more of a coincidence the Nick's in these movies. He's been in other types of movies and most of the examples included here either talk about the dangers of contact with the devil like Ghost Rider, are mere coincidences like the sorcerer's apprentice, or have nothing to do with Satan at all like the horrible wicker man remake.

I alway thought Nicolas Cage did movies about cracking codes, lol. But you make a good point. Maybe he's a Satanist.

Still, the stuff in movies like "The Wicker Man" and "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" are often associated with deviltry. But still, I've counted at least
eight movies with satanic undertones...

Hey, when you're an A-list star you can afford to pick whatever roles you like.

I'm sure that's what Old Scratch said to Nicolas Cage...
Nicolas Cage wrote:Wow, look at me! I'm a huge movie star, I can have any girl I want and I'm a millionaire... THANK YOU, SATAN!

Let me analyze this example list:
City of Angels-- I'll give you this one as I have not seen the movie.
Bringing Out the Dead-- Well, to be fair there are a lot of people with their interpretations of hell, I don't Nick should stand out.
The Wicker Man-- A movie that ('s supposed to) points out that men will do anything under anyone's command if they're desperate. The pagan cult is more likely a framing device, to get the message around.
Ghost Rider-- One, Mesphito is not satan (for those of you who are confused in the original comics Johnny Blaze made a deal with Mesphito not the devil), and two, when Nick's character gets his powers from the "Devil" he's not exactly happy about it, in fact the movie actually shows the dangers of making a deal with the "devil".
Knowing-- So? There are lots of movies and books and whatevers about the Book of Revelations like Left Behind, and that one Miniseries with Bill Pullman.
The Sorcerer's Apprentice-- Eh, that's a big stretch. Magic has been used time and time again as positive source, and the only people who actually magic is the devil's power, let alone that it actually exists (at least the magic that humans use) are prototypical christians who just complain (which I'm not a part of even though I do believe in stuff like Jesus, God, and most of the Bible's morals).
Drive Angry-- Again I'll give this one as I know very little about this movie.
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance-- See my comments on the first movie for info.
Ok now that I've explained myself, I hope you can see why I'm a little skeptical of this theory. I mean yeah there are two examples I didn't explain but then again I know nothing about either movie so I couldn't explain myself. I don't think you're stupid or anything I just think these examples are nothing more than coincidences.

I keep telling you, Manson's an
atheist! Ahh! Why do people not understand this? Manson is an atheist, and Nick Cage is a devil-worshiper. There
is a difference, though Pat Robertson would have you believe otherwise.

Doesn't mean Manson can't be into deviltry. I think that's what JKA was talking about.

There's a difference between being into deviltry and practicing it. Manson doesn't do anything that doesn't benefit himself. If he ever went to a meeting at the Church of Satan, he probably got bored halfway through thinking "This sucks, it's like real church where I have to participate and stuff," and walked out. Nick Cage on the other hand is at the unholy altar serving horrible little black icinged cookies and punch.

Yes, but you only got this info from a couple of movies choices Nick made, how do you know he's into satanism? Are you stalking him? 0_o
