Inspiration: A Quest to Make the Great american Novel

Meet Ralph Todd, a modest writer who's on a quest to write his magnum opus, the Great American Novel. His motive is to make the ultimate american book, the one that would make all other American novels looks lame in comparison! It would contain horror, action, science fiction, comedy, romance, drama, suspense, heroes, anti-heroes, villains, anti-villains, lancers, death, sex, alcohol, bizarro aspects, drugs, tear jerking moments, satire, surreal images, real life characters, real life locations, religion, and every single trope known to man and boost it all up to 11!

However this is NO easy task, for Ralph intends to make all the tropes in this novel work and since he can only make satire and action tropes work. He needs help from other writers who CAN make those tropes work and so he searches for them. Most of the story will feature Ralph searching for collaborating authors and developing the actual story. Of course there will be conflict among the other writers and the Novel will only make it past the manuscript stage, however it'll be a fun trip I can tell you that.


I actually thought that this could be a nice little RPG, you know with other RPers making their own characters as the authors and having them write some of the "Great American Novel". I think it could be a fun RPG but will other people want to do it is the question?

That's what i'm trying to say, would people like to RP in this?
