I am selling the Blu-ray green jacket series of Lupin the Third, on ebay. It may be pricey but I paid a lot for it. I am ready to part, I doubt anyone here would be interested but why not?
I thought I'd post a NEP to the new Brian and Chaz.

Don't mean to double post but this episode is done and it took me a month to complete it. Here's to more new episodes in September.

I might as well get into this action as well! One of my more recent projects that I'm actually being serious for is a series of books based on the bible. It's called B. Noir and well, to describe these new novels, you know those old gangster movies of 30's and 40's, or maybe the classic film Noir genre with stuff like Casablanca and the Maltese Falcon? Think of the Bible with that aesthetic.
It's kind of like that Richard III movie starring Ian McKellen (AKA: Gandalf and Magneto), which updated the classic story from the 1400's to the 1930's. Except, my B. Noir stories are probably going to be a bit more pragmatic with their changes. I already have a short story on there if some one would want to see what the whole series'll be like.

In honor of Mario Kart 8 I've come up with a couple Mario gifs and images.
That is awesome, Zelda 2 is one of my favorite Zelda games.

That artwork is truly awesome, Carl. It really captures the style and feel of some of the old Zelda artwork. Well done!

NASA isn't hip with the kids anymore, so it's up to Eric to save them. Will his rap about NASA be enough?

I'll be shooting my dream project next week CREATURE FROM THE CREEK! After 10 drafts, I finally narrowed it down to be a 5-10 minute short. Mostly green screen, and CGI effects with that black and white feel. I thought I would post some screen caps.

I hope you all can enjoy my short film, CREATURE FROM THE CREEK!!! I'd like to do more episodic sketches like this to continue this story to combine them into a movie.
I have been working none stop around the clock on this cartoon for 4 months now, I finally have a clip to show off. I figured out how they animate basicly every old Adult Swim from the back in the day(Aqua Teen, Space Ghost, Sealab) and have tried my take on that style and it's way better than flash, and a lot easier too. So enjoy this cip of
UNG-TAR: THE BARBARIAN!

I put so much hard work into this, sweat, tears, blood, sacrifices, experienced insanity and ate my own arm in a act of cannibalism, and finally finished Ung-Tar the Barbian.
Oh and I didn't really eat my arm or ever experience cannibalism.

I thought I would do my own take on the whole retro video game scene. Enjoy.

Psh, fine, I'll whore out a video I narrated in character as Matthew Barney...

I have to admit man, that was pretty damn funny. I loved your calm deadpan narration throughout the entire thing "I had my name taken off this production for...reasons that will become readily apparent".
I was also surprised by how soft your voice was.

Thanks! I was of course doing a character voice, pretending to be Matthew Barney, who, if you're unfamiliar with, is Bjork's ex-husband and is the maker of several unusually large budget avant garde arthouse films or "exhibitions" as he calls them-- they look awesome but he doesn't put them on home video because he's stated that his "movies aren't for poor people." He's desperately in love with himself in real life-- something I played on heavily.
His movies are incredibly pornographic in nature but also visually stunning-- the most recent being "River of Fundament," based loosely on a Norman Mailer book about reincarnation. He also did a series of films collectively called "The Cremaster Cycle," which if you've got 40,000 dollars to spare you can get one the only ten DVD boxed sets ever printed of it. Or you can travel to New York and ask for a copy to be printed for 100k.
Either way, I found that Hard Hat Harry tape in a drawer like three years ago, ripped it to my computer and let it sit there for a long time until the other day I took a look at it and noticed the ending credits have no director listed. So I thought "What if the biggest snob of all time had directed it, but claims in the commentary that his 'vision' was stifled by 'the man?'" So today I just sort of started talking into the microphone and couldn't stop.
Currently Barney (who I'm impersonating in the commentary) is locked in a series of legal battles over the custody of the daughter he fathered with Bjork-- which becomes a running joke over the hour-long course of the video. The other person who briefly talks in the video is my brother as "the sound guy" doing his John Leguizamo "impersonation," which is another running joke he and I have had for years.
I think it goes without saying that Matthew Barney did not (as far as I know) have any involvement with the Hard Hat Harry series, but in a weird funk I somehow came up with this bizarre idea and put it together as if he did. For some reason the words "and that's okay," or "but that's okay" became Matthew's "catchphrase" as I continued to narrate this obscure little videocassette I kept in a box from when I was a kid.

I gone and done it again. There were some technical equalization balancing issues which may or may not be overly noticeable.
Expect another maybe tomorrow.

Day Four: Matthew Barney talks about a film he wrote a draft of the screenplay of, but did not in fact direct...
...evidently, he's a fan of gangsta rap.

Hello all! I've recently started putting my art up on a print site to be sold as posters, phone cases, pillows, greeting cards and what have you. There's not much up now, but take a gander, if you will. I'd sure appreciate it. http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/carl-chrappa.html
