Rather disturbing story. You have to question the truth behind it.

Well, lots of people apparently. How would you feel if you found out that a person who basically defined your childhood (not yours exactly but Elmo has become a cherished icon among kids) was a pedophile. I think it'd be pretty shocking.

Though then again, it could be some douche bag trying to get some money so who knows for sure.

Most likely concerned parents who have to reconsider their outlook on life. If a cherished childhood icon, respected by millions, turns out to be a sexual predator then who else might be? It's a difficult thing to consider when your life is devoted to caring for others.

Yes, however there is a possibility that this lawsuit is complete bullshit, remember the Nintendo VS. Universal case? It's certainly possible.

That's so messed up, didn't see this one coming, even though i never watched Sesami Street as a kid. It still has an impact for some reason. It's like when Pee-wee got caught in the theater.

Oh and I'm sure this is like te same case as Michael Jackson, just framing a black man.

Well, apparently Playhouse was already done, and Reubens' arrest only meant that CBS didn't rerun it at season's end. In other words, he was already done with the character, and used the arrest as an excuse to get him out of the public eye for a while (if he didn't in fact get himself arrested on purpose).
