Does anyone live in Taos, NM, near it or plan to visit soon?

As some of you might know, I've discovered that I'm Dennis Hopper's cousin because of a common ancestor. I was hoping someone might be able to leave something at his gravesite in Taos for me, and somehow mark it so people know who it's from. My real name is Charity and I'd like for it to say something along the lines of 'Miss you, Cousin Dennis. Love, Charity.'

Not to be rude, but can't you go there yourself?

Drive over 21 hours without my own car? Not likely.

You were rude. It's not completely inappropriate to ask a favor of your community.

Well I'm sorry for sounding like that.
I never said it was inappropriate to ask, I was just wondering why, that's all.

Sorry if I sounded weird asking this. I could never make the journey though, and it pretty much feels like I've lost a family member I never got to meet and I can't even leave flowers on his grave, because the trip is impossible for me.

Well, you could leave a thoughtful message on his Find A Grave page and virtual flowers if nothing else, explaining your relation to him, that'd be a nice gesture if you can't get there in person.
Here's his Find A Grave page.
