Dr. Enuf

Postby Phlibbit » Mon Jun 29, 2009 2:34 pm

So I live in Tennessee, in the tri-cities area. This was the birthplace of Mountain Dew, believe it or not. The company had another soft drink that they invented--Dr. Enuf. They sold the rights to Dew a long time ago and look where that went...

They still make Dr. Enuf around these parts, and I've gotta say, I think it's the best soft drink of all time. It's lemon-lime like Sprite or 7up, but better.

Has anyone else had the privilege of drinking this heavenly nectar? If not, I'll send you a bottle, lol. Anyone else have any interesting local-only soft drinks?

Sounds like good stuff, I think I finally faced the facts that I'm highly addicted to Coca-cola, I go through 2 12 packs ever other 2 days or less, especially on my days off.

But I never thought of finding local soft drinks, I've tried plenty of local brew that has knocked me on my ass.

lol. You actually made a thread about this soda? XD

If the offer still stands I could go for a bottle and with it a taste of Tennessee. :P

Completely forgot! Ryan was kind enough to send me a pack way back in January, which I chose to save for a couple of weeks to pass around on my birthday. I have to say, I really enjoyed it.

We all thought that it tasted a bit like Mountain Dew, but it's a more refined flavor. Mountain Dew is probably a more sugar-loaded and exaggerated flavor. So, thanks for the introduction, Ryan! :)
