Some real "Bizarro" Fiction...

Postby Serum » Mon Oct 12, 2009 9:04 am

Hey, I didn't know if anybody here was familiar with Bizarro Fiction, an underground writing movement that focuses on irrealism, the forced action of writing the weird. For those of you who aren't familiar, I'll provide some links, but be forewarned: BIZARRO IS NOT FOR EVERYBODY. Most of the time it focuses on bizarre and sometimes taboo subjects which can be found offensive to most people. For instance, Carlton Mellick III, one of the pioneers of the Bizarro Movement, wrote a book called Satan Burger, which is pretty much exactly what you think it is: Satan opens up a fast-food restaurant, but the backdrop is a bizarre world full of mutants, aliens and extremely perverted creatures of the night. It's kind of like the cult-video section of the video-store, only for books. My favorite Bizarro author is Carlton Mellick III, who's written books like Satan Burger, War Slut, The Baby Jesus Butt-Plug, and his kids book: The Faggiest Vampire. The Bizarro movement is a fast-growing genre, but they also need new readers. So yeah, like I said, this isn't for everybody. I'd recommend this to 18+ mature readers. Here's some links...

What would you do without your big brother?
I'd like to give it a shot and find out.

Oh. I get it now. I might have an example.

Last week, I fought a giant man eating, pirhanna with eye lazers, and the pirhanna was built by Dr. Frankenstein by using moldy bones, he found on skull island, the island was full of dinosaurs and Godzilla droppings. So, Frankenstein transforms the Godzilla droppings and turns it into a Godzilla clone! But, I blew the clone into bits. But then, it reforms into clone, but it melted because it got too close to a volcano.
Isn't this a little feminine?

Yes. I know. It was my ex wife's.

But you wear this stuff?!

Yeah on an occasion we have a date.

No, not exactly, it needs to be much more drawn out and has to have some semblance of continuity.
