"Nobody Leaves The World Wrestling Federation!" WWE Thread!

Well, about two weeks ago, I picked up watching Professional Wrestling after a fairly long break from watching it.
I think I'd stopped watching it around late 2005, early 2006, maybe a bit later than that, but when I picked up on it
the other week, I was shocked at how much the two shows have changed! Apparently Rey Mysterio won the World
Heavyweight Championship, which I didn't think he qualified for (Don't get me wrong, he's a great wrestler, but I
never really thought of him as a 'heavyweight.') and then he lost it to somebody who lost it to Undertaker and now
Rey's trying to get it back. Also, I apparently missed the introduction of some new wrestlers, like the straight-edge
guy who shaves people's heads and the new WWE champion, Shaemus, who seems like a pretty good wrestler, but
all he ever does is talk. Heck, I know it's all fake, but really, can't they actually do some friggin' wrestling now
and then? Seriously... But anyway, I made this because I didn't know if we had any Pro-Wrestling fans or anything,
also I'm swinging by my local GameCrazy tonight to pick up a copy of "SmackDown VS Raw 2008," which looks pretty
badass, despite being two years old. The only reason I'm not buying 2010 is because after 2008 they eliminated the
"Create a Championship Belt," feature, which was one of my favorite parts of the earlier games in the series (05, 06).
Also, what's up with ECW being part of the WWE, now? Am I the only one who doesn't find that kosher? Personally I
haven't watched the rival show, TNA (Not 'Tits and Ass,' it's Total Nonstop Action, they REALLY got to get new initials.)
Wrestling, but from what I heard, they have Hulk Hogan now, as well as most of the former members of NWO from WCW.
So does anybody else watch wrestling here, but me? Don't tell me I'm the only redneck here who enjoys watching it.

I personally enjoy me some WWE. Always have, always will. But, I can't deny that I miss the old days of wrestling more than what is on TV now.

I'm a fan, of sorts.

By which I mean, if I didn't want to keep watching and supporting guys like Punk, Bryan, Ryder, Ziggler, and others, the recent story with AJ and Vickie and Cena would have made me turn it off in disgust. So now I just watch and am disgusted when that stuff comes up.
