How old is everyone? I turn 17 in September I just want to know if you all are older than me or not.

And is anyone a girl? I know I am and its the nest thing that has ever happened to me.

I'm 21 and first experienced the movie around age five. I'd always enjoyed it, but it's only been the last year or so that I've gotten back into it. I think it's fair to say that most of the film's fans are a little older or a little younger. There's good reason for that: we first experienced it and now we're introducing it to our own kids or nephews/nieces.

I do know that we have two or three other girls around here, but they only visit sporadically. Hopefully they'll stop by soon and you can get to know them. :)

Yeah a massive chunk of our stuff is still vhs, including all the original bond films and star trek movies. We've been trying to find a vcr but i don't think anyone is making them now.

I know that Wal-Mart sells DVD+VCR players, you may want to look there...or best buy.

I'm a boy obviously.

I LOVE old VHS movies. Everything from the box art design to the tracking to the feeling of rewinding after a late-night marathon. However, the medium has become a bit of a burden these days as more and more movies I want to watch are degraded.

There's a documentary called 'Rewind This' coming out about the rise and influence of the VHS medium on the film industry and pop culture. It seems like a fun watch, but the comparisons to vinyl are a bit extreme.

I would not purchase a DVD player/VCR combination, since the last few machines I owned did not last very long. I would suggest checking thrift stores and flea markets for VCRs. I suggest checking their return policies and asking whether the machines were tested (for playback and tracking) or not.

As for the questions that started this topic, I'm 23 years of age and I was a boy once (I'm still male :) ).

Hello everybody! I'm 31 years old and also female. Please don't consider me as old since I'm really young in my heart. Mario was my hero when I was young and I'm definitely not alone.. I know many in my age who loved to play on their old nintendo....unforgettable memories after all!

Of course not! Everyone should be a kid at heart even if they're adult in body and mind. Life is about experiencing things to the fullest, with the imagination and appreciation of youth. Keep with it and stick around!
