All right guys,

Here's a recipe you all are really going to want to make. Why, you ask? Well--the answer will become clear after tonight's update goes live.

No Peek Chicken and Rice

3/4 cup uncooked regular rice
1-10 3/4 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
1 env. Lipton onion soup mix
2 and 1/4 cup water
2 1/2 to 3 lb chicken cut into serving pieces
Paprika or Ground Cayenne Red Pepper (optional)

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. In 3 qt. baking dish, combine uncooked rice, soup and onion mix. Blend with water. Arrange chicken on top of soup mixture. Sprinkle paprika or cayenne on top, along with some black pepper (if desired). Bake 1 to 1 and 1/4 hours or until done and rice is tender. And don't peek.

Makes about 4 servings.

Oh it is. Anyone just now viewing this thread knows that this is a sly reference to something you'll read in our interview with Richard Edson.

Now, perhaps the chicken dish Richard had really wasn't good. But being a country bumpkin myself--I've made the above and it's pretty good IMO. Then again, I added the "extras" of Lipton Onion Soup Mix and cayenne pepper. For shame.

Anyways, I think it'd be both hilarious and awesome if anyone made this and posted their results. I'll have to start :D
