A place for those who "Trust the Fungus"

Much like the situation with Blue Velvet I posted about yesterday, it seems as if an original and vastly different ending to the clever Reese Witherspoon/Matthew Broderick film "Election" was found on an unlabeled VHS tape at a flea market. This VHS contained a workprint of the film with the alternate ending, though no word on whether anything else was different that changed the overall tone. Read about it on /SlashFilm HERE.

This makes me really want to visit Wilmington to peruse secondhand stores, flea markets and film studios to see if we could find something similar for Super Mario Bros. If Disney won't release this footage then it has to come out some other way.

That really makes me wonder if there WAS a different ending. Since the film was taken in a different direction since Rocky & Annabell were pushed out of the project and the ending was rushed..
