thank you very much! I didnt want to make the legs TOO long, but I made them just a tad longer just because the entire thing was supposed to look out of proportion but not horribly out of proportion

Ya' know, I got a load of requests about those 2 from this site xD and I never got around to doing them (mainly cuz My art wasnt as good) but now I'm gonna finally DO one xD

Looks like you have a new project on your hands! You're in good company, too, since sequel comics for the movie appear to be popular this year.
No worries about the quality; as long as you maintain the good art and have fun with the story I'm sure we'll all enjoy it quite a bit. Just start a thread soon and get us some concept art of the new baddies!

Hopefully I can keep up the style and feel of the movie and my art while at the same time incorporating things from other parts of the Super mario Franchise
One thing that's for certain is that I PROBABLY wont make it similar to the plot of SMB2 (as the movie was a plot of SMB) since it'd be alot harder to make a giant bubble burping toad a scary reptilian villain

To be fair, they adapted a giant turtle-dragon into a blonde, suit-wearing fascist.
You could turn Wart into literally anything and still fit that same mold. But there are other villains from that time period to choose from. Just do what you think the filmmakers would have done!

If not Wart, who do you think you would do as a villain? The only other characters from that time period were Wario, Donkey Kong and Tatanga.

here we have some more character work! This time I'm drawing the Bros again but they're being drawn in a more, cute style, then the last one I did
After I draw Luigi I'm gonna tackle iggy and spike and maybe koopa

probably, the other design was alot more serious looking then this one does also

His forehead is pretty large, making him appear more balding than Hoskins-as-Mario really was.
Wario looks great. Much better than your previous design!

thanks! and yeah I know :/ Its either the eyes or the forehead, either way it doesnt look that great for him

I'm not sure if the jumpsuit totally works for Wario, if only because it's not a very powerful costume for a lead villain. It would make sense if he were a second-in-command or henchman for someone else, perhaps Wart or Tatanga.
The design itself is still good.

well what me and 1upMushroom have right now is that wario isnt a major character, he'll be a minor villain role, where as wart'll be the "koopa" of the sequel and tatanga'll be a mafia boss

Cool designs! I always enjoy seeing updates to this thread. The classic outfit you have on Iggy is cool, but I also appreciate the variation with the "K" logo.

why thank you! The K logo one, was sort of an early concept I found that I did. seeing as I didnt completely memorize Iggy's design aside from the gloves and the fact he wore a kind of coat and pants, I decided to get creative! Also, allow me to again apologize for my absence, I've not been "into" the mario movie for some time
