Advice on Character's Personality?

Ahem, as I have mentioned before me and a group of colleagues are going to be making a youtube series called mushroom house, a sort of spin off of stupid mario brothers

anyways, I am having trouble with determining a key character's personality as his IN GAME self doesnt have a real personality. You all know him as Shadow Mario, aka Bowser Junior In disguise, though for ours, we're going for a much more darker approach, with him being some sort of entity but we dont know what yet, we also have no idea about his personality, should he be crazy? murderous? calm?

I'd like as many people's opinions on this as possible.

Ok one, is Richie ok with you making a spinoff? Two, this signature is a little big, do you think you can change it? And three, if this is going to be a spinoff, why would you need another Shadow Mario, just bring back the Darkness or have him communicate with Mario, it can be really easy. And finally, this should be in the general thread not the Fan Media.

well, one, its not exactly a spinoff of his series, I may have worded it wrong :/

the similarities is the type of comedy and the selection of characters that are going to be in it, though its going to be more family friendly, two, sure I'll do that in a sec, sorry didnt realize the picture was so large, and three, see number one haha

For one thing, he should talk. Mario is known for being a silent protagonist, so an adversary who talks at all would be an interesting dynamic.

ah okay, because originally we were going to havve him be mute and only make grunts and stuff like Mario
