THIIS TO ME IS A HANDS DOWN ULTIMATE BRAINSTORMING DVD RELEASE FOR THE SUPER MARIO BROS THE MOVIE.
If Disney ever release this film, on DVD, officially, in 5.1 Sound and 1:81:1 Anamorphic Widescreen (The Australian DVD Release was in 1:77:1!!!!!!!!) and ORIGINAL BOX ART, and dig this..... I WANT IT TO BE IN 2 DISCS!!!!! Why? BECAUSE THERE IS SO. MUCH. STUFF TO OFFER AS SPECIAL FEATURES!!!
Here is what I want (I penned out these ideas, but didn't have enough room on my paper!):

Disc 1:
-Full Length Feature Film
-Theatrical Trailer
-"Almost Unreal" music video by Roxette

Disc 2:
-The Making Of 'Super Mario Bros'.
-Interviews with Cast and / or Crew (and Rocky? =O)
-Mojo Nixon's "Anti Koopa" Song Demo 1992/3
-Production Stills
-Storyboards
-"Walk The Dinosaur" Music Video by George Clinton
-Bonus Scripts
-2012 19th Anniversary Screenings Footage
-That upcoming fan made documentary for 2013

It should be released in 5.1 Surround Sound and it needs it's original artwork. Fully direct with the official metal logo. No 3D Replicas!!!!!

Though I said Original Artwork I know this can be a bit off but i'd love the inside DVD cover (when you open it up) to feature pictures from the Colouring Book. http://www.smbmovie.com/SMBArchive/merc ... books.html

I'd love to have 11/60 on one side, coloured, or not, 42/60, and 50/60 inserted smaller....I know i'm being imaginative here but aren't we all?

By the way, we have everything listed here. on the Sonic SatAM DVD Release, fan artwork was made BY FANS for the official DVD Cases in the boxset and the cases themselves. Think about it.

It's actually not a big ask. I can do most of that easily in the professional editing software I own. It'd require a little money to get the DVD menu program, but then its plain sailing. Getting it saleable as an official product? Highly highly unlikely. But we could make and sell it ourselves, just not widely cos it'd be copyright theft.

I have done this using Pinnacle. It included the making of, yoshi video, trailers. Now that we have many more bonus vids and a few extra`s it would be even bigger.

Everybody knows that the Roxette Greatest Hits Australian Tour CD/DVD features the Almost Unreal Music Video.It's the Super Mario Bros. version. I have this. Great album, by the way! Oh my god it'd be great if this actually happened

It's all of our dreams to see a release with this compilation of special features made. It may not happen this year, but I can certainly see something better coming in the future.
