"Super Mario Bros. - Wario World"

Note: I know there's already a canon sequel (the SMB2 web-comic) but this is just my version of what I think the sequel would have been like if it ever got made

It was a normal day in Brooklyn. The Mario Bros. were at home. Mario and Daniella were cooking dinner, while Luigi was still depressed about having to leave Daisy, the love of his life. Mario kept trying to cheer him up, but it was no use. Little did Luigi know everything would change after a single knock on the door. Mario ran to answer, and Daisy busted in, carrying a flamethrower.

Mario asked her what was going on. Daisy said that a new threat had come up, and there was no time to explain. Mario told Daniella to stay behind because it's too dangerous in Dinohattan. Daniella wished the Bros. good luck as they returned to Dinohattan with Daisy. They entered through the portal and discovered that the city was in the middle of a huge war. Daisy explained that a group of Koopa's followers, calling themselves the "Koopalings", attempted to recreate their former leader using some of his DNA, but they didn't have enough DNA to make a whole clone, so they attacked Dinohattan trying to use some of the King's DNA.

Daisy brings them to the castle, which is heavily guarded. The King greets the Brothers, and tells them to make sure no Koopaling spies get into the castle. Luigi asks what their supposed to do, and Daisy says that she needs their help to infiltrate the Koopalings' fortress. Toad arrives, back in his normal form, and tells his old friends that they have to be careful, because the Koopalings have a highly-armed armada.

The Bros., Daisy, and Toad head out in a fighter jet. Suddenly, the jet comes under attack by winged creatures. The Bros. recognize the creatures as Goombas, but with wings. Toad says that the Koopalings have assembled an army of Paragoombas, which are much more dangerous then the regular Goombas ever were. Toad presses a button that activates two blasters on the sides of the jet. The blasters begin shooting Bullet Bills at the surrounding Paragoombas, blasting them out of the sky. The jet zooms across the Paragoomba-infested sky and heads toward the Koopalings' base.

Note: The reason Iggy is not included in this version of the Koopalings is because this universe already HAS an Iggy, so I just left him out
The Bill Blasters were nearly out of ammo. They couldn't fight off the Paragoombas anymore. It was getting too difficult. They were outnumbered...
Daisy was beginning to worry. Toad was trying the best he could to get the jet past all the Goombas. It was hopeless. Hey, at least it couldn't get any worst. But then... it did.
Something hit the wing of the jet, bounced off, and fell to the ground. A few seconds before it landed, it exploded. Toad looked up. Above the jet was a strange little round hovercraft that was designed to resemble a cloud. Whoever was inside the hovercraft was tossing Bob-Ombs down at the jet. It was him... Lakitu! Lakitu was a mercenary working for the Koopalings. He was basically unstoppable. He always got his target. Uh-oh!
Toad stepped on it. The jet was going as fast as it could, but Lakitu's hovercraft was going faster. The jet was able to dodge the Bob-Ombs, but not for long, because then, the Lakitu pulled out his secret weapon... an egg? Yes, a red egg. Lakitu would use these in especially hard missions. They would hatch into little spiky creatures and attack anything in their path. Lakitu tossed several eggs at the jet. Some of them hit, some of them missed. The ones that hit hatched right away and immediately started tearing away at the metal jet, trying to get to their prey. One tore a hole through the top of the jet, and hissed at the heroes. Daisy grabbed her flamethrower and blasted the spiky creature, barbecuing it. The burnt little thing stumbled around and fell off the jet, flying off into the wind. More creatures attacked, and Daisy kept fighting them off. One of the creatures crawled down the back of the jet and went down underneath it. It found the gas tank, and mistaking it for food, dug in. It's pointy little teeth cut through the tank, and released all the gas. The jet went down, and Lakitu thought his job was done. Lakitu left to go see his bosses, while the jet fell to the ground.
At the Koopaling's base, Lakitu was proud to announce that he had killed the Mario Bros. The Koopalings (Lemmy, Wendy, Morton, Roy, Larry, and Ludwig) were brainstorming, trying to think up a way to get the extra DNA, when Lakitu flew in on his hovercraft and told them the "good" news. The Koopalings were happy at this news, and sent their elite group of Hammer Bros. to go to Dinohattan and capture the king. Meanwhile, on a deserted island, the jet crash landed right in the middle of a river. The Marios, Daisy, and Toad got out okay, and were greeted by several small multi-colored dinosaurs, led by one very familiar one... Yoshi! Luigi asked what Yoshi was doing on this island, and Daisy said that they moved Yoshi to the small island so he could be with his own kind. The Marios also noticed that Yoshi has grown, and is now big enough to be ridden on like a horse. Mario got an idea, and asked if any of the Yoshis knew how to swim.

The Hammer Bros. had arrived. Their army stormed the security gate outisde the castle. The guards tried to stop them, but all the guards took a tough hammer to the head before they could do anything. King Toadstool sent the best soldiers out to stop the Hammer Bros. before it was too late. The Hammer Bros. saw the oncoming soldiers, and unleashed their secret weapon --- a Bob-Omb! One of the Bros. pulled it out of their pocket, winded it up, and set it free. Tick... tick..
BOOM!
The entire army was blown off the ground and up into the night sky!
The Bros. stomped down the door, marched inside the castle, and grabbed the king.
Yer coming with us, King Toadstool!
Never! Your bosses cannot use my DNA!
Too bad, your majesty. It's game over for you and your little mushroom kingdom!
The Bros. and their army took the king, tied him up, and threw him in the back of their truck.
Meanwhile, Mario, Luigi, Toad and Daisy were all riding their own Yoshis through the sea. Mario's idea worked, and they would be at the Koopalings' base in no time. But suddenly, a huge wave sent them flying up into the air. They fell back down into the water, and what they saw was a terrible sight...
a gigantic, white squid!
Daisy, what is that thing?
They call it the Blooper! I've heard legends about it, but I... I never thought it was real!
Well you should've told us some more stuff about yer culture!
A huge tentacle went flying up out of the water, and grabbed Mario out of the water and into the air.
Holy crap!!! Luigi!
Mario! Guys, it grabbed Mario!
Yoshi shot his tongue up toward Mario, trying to catch him and pull him out of the Blooper's tight grip, but it was no use.
Hold on, Mario! We'll get ya down, bro!
The Blooper opened it's big mouth, revealing a huge set of fangs, and hissed at the heroes. It flung it's tentacle up, tossing Mario into the air.
Mario screamed as he fell face first down into the sea. He sunk down under the sea, and saw a sunken ship. He swam inside of it, and saw a chest. Opening the chest, he discovered it held a rusty old Bill Blaster inside, with a bit of ammo left. Mario took the weapon and swam back up.
The Blooper was slapping the water with it's tentacles, creating huge waves that sent the group of heroes flying. It looked hopeless, until Mario bobbed up behind the gigantic creature.
It's-a me... Mario!
Mario pulled the trigger, sending the Bullet Bill flying straight through the Blooper's chest, impaling it's heart.
The Blooper let out an ear-splitting screech, and sunk down to the bottom of the sea, never to be seen again.
Alright, guys, we don't have much time. We have to get to the Koopalings' base right away.
Yeah, man, let's get going.
The heroes climbed back onto their Yoshis and swam forward, heading to face the Koopalings and save Dinohattan once and for all.
