Well these new pics I just whipped up in about 10 minutes, it's none other than THE SCAPELLI BROS!

I would take this still and call it a "preview" of what the animated deleted scene will look like.
And now onto another, although it's not really a still it's just a character design for Pascal.

Hope you guys like.

That's really cool. Here's the passage from the SMB novel about the cafe scene. For anyone that doesn't have it. There are a few good pics, one in the book and a few of the trading cards show the Scapelli bros really well..
"Not Scapelli!" Luigi groaned.
"We'd better get in there" Mario said, pushing open his door.
The brothers hurried into the restaurant. They walked quickly across the dining room and through the swinging doors to the kitchen, past bustling waiters and chefs in white uniforms. Finally they found a macho looking man in a black tuxedo. Mario knew he was Pascal, the owner of the restaurant. Two big goons in Scapelli coveralls were speaking to him.
"It's those slimeballs Doug and Mike." Mario whispered to Luigi.
"Looks like a two day job," Doug was telling Pascal.
"Just to fix a dishwasher?" The restaurant owner scowled.
"If we can get the parts, it could be longer" Mike added.
"Uh, excuse me," Mario said, stepping between the Scapelli goons and Pascal. "You said you had a dishwasher problem when you called us for the job.
"Yes," said Pascal, pointing at the dishwasher. "It leaks from the bottom."
Mario crouched down and looked at the dishwasher. A small puddle of water had collected on the floor beneath it. Mario stood up.
"You need a new gasket" Mario said "Maybe a hose. You're looking at a two hour job. These Scapelli guys are trying to snow you."
"Would you excuse us please?" Doug quickly grabbed Mario by his tool belt and yanked him over to a corner where Pascal couldn't hear. "Hey!" Mario shouted, smacking Doug's hand away. "Nobody touches my tools"
The two Scapelli plumbers towered over him. "Listen" Mike hissed. "I understand that nobody messes with your tools. And I assume you understand, Mario Mario, that nobody messes with us. Or our boss, Mr Scapelli. You know him?"
"Know him?" Mario had to laugh. "I grew up with that bum. He ain't a plumber, he's a toxic waste dumper. HE don't know a pipe from a crowbar.
Doug and Mike glared at Mario, then turned back to the restaurant owner.
"I think Mr Scapelli will be pretty disappointed if he don't get this job." Doug said.
"Yeah" added Mike, staring hard at Pascal. "So who you gonna hire? The Marios or Scapelli?"
Pascal swallowed. "Uh, two days to fix a dishwasher sounds fine. I guess Scapelli gets the job."
Mario's jaw dropped. Luigi's eyes bulged in disbelief. Pascal turned to them and whispered. "I'll make it up to you boys. How about a free dinner tonight?"
The Mario Bros sighed. A free meal was better than nothing.

Thank you for the information that is needed. I actually have the novel based on the movie, and typed it up in script form last night. I really needed these pics of the SCAPELLIs I was kind of like, "If I do this, I hav eno source of what the Scapelli Bros look like." I kind of pictured them as two mobster looking guys, with Sly Stalone accents, which I'm sure is what I'm going to do with those guys.

I had a thought today, and I think it would be cool if someone could do this one: take the "Tale of the Fisherman and the Genie" scene from the early SMB draft and animate it. The one where Luigi tells the story while the group of kids are surrounded by him.

But to be honest, I'm really not feeling the same modivation as I was when making the Technician Meltdown. The technician scene had everything cool about it, this scene just involves people talking, and Mario getting his tool grabbed.
I dont know if I'll animate it or not, but if somebody knows how to animate I'll glady draw them and make storyboards for it so they can animate it and send me back the footage. Other then that, I really don't know if I'm up to this. If somebody else sees what I did and goes, Hey I'll do the same thing. I will retaliate and make my own, and make it way better. But I'm sure you guys get what I'm trying to say. If I change my mind, I will let you guys know.
