What I'm suggesting is to overlay that scene, without Dan's voice and let Toad do the talking. Off the top of my head, it should work quite nicely.

Yes, I know that Dan Castellaneta did the opening narration in the movie.

Stephen Fry was the Voice of the Guide in the 2005 Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie.

Redstar wrote:I know I want to establish a shot of a train to later be graphically-altered to resemble a Bullet Bill train, but where to get such footage I don't know. I know I want it to be an L train or a lifted train, such as the one found in Chicago, but that type of train isn't often seen in movies. It's usually just subways. I also have to take into consideration the visuals of the city of Dinohattan, so any old shot won't work... I need to a crowded, grungy shot that would feel at home in Blade Runner. I'm welcome to any suggestions, though I'd appreciate an example clip or a still image so I can be sure of what I'm looking into.

!!!!!

I have another idea, though it might not exactly work.

You could try creating the Bullet Bill train as a miniature. Trust me on this one: if you live near a Hobby Lobby, go to it and check the model trains aisle. They should have a battery-operated train in small enough scale for you to use. They're customizable, too, which means you can take the outer casing off, replace the battery, and put another casing on if you wish.

I propose creating a small model of the Bullet Bill thing, sticking it over the top of the engine, and getting some shots against a blue or green screen.

EDIT: There should be a few of 'em designed to look like elevated trains.

I post at the Evageeks forum, and this image came up in one of the threads there:

Triple-post!

Anyways, cool image. I think I've seen it around before. We should have really seen Hopper turn into that at some point.
