I have this idea for a faux semi-documentary about the making of the Super Mario Bros movie, it's called "It Came From the 90s, a Quasi-True Story." It's a heavily fictionalized re-telling of how the movie we all know and love came to be. From the bidding war between studios over the rights to make a movie out of Mario, to the inexplicable Box-Office failure that the movie suffered in 1993, to the cult-status it has attained to this day. It would be a semi-documentary in the sense that it is told from all the actors' and crew-members' points of view, but cinematic in perspective. I'm writing the script right now using a great screenwriting program called "Celt-X." If anyone has any questions or comments or suggestions, just post them and I'll take them into consideration! Thanks again.
Oh, I'll be uploading the script and all the notes on it when I've finished, so no worries about never getting to read it.

My idea for a "Mockumentary..."
There's a fine line between not listening, and not caring. I like to think I walk that line everyday of my life.

Sounds great!
But what's that about being "heavily fictionalized?" I think it would be more interesting if it was what actually happened...

When I say "heavily fictionalized" I mean doing things like changing the names of the people who were involved, spicing it up to make it more comedic and just give the reader/viewer an overall more enjoyable experience.
