I'm not much into music but I love a good soundtrack cover. The latter two are especially great since your "casting" choices really give a glimpse into how those actors might depict your chosen characters.
It's also interesting to see Hopper featured on IV: The Lost Level, considering he'd been dead since I.

Well, at the time Hopper was still well alive. He was actually meant to be portrayed as "boss" in one of Boo's "levels". But, Koopa would not be in the flick but for so long. He would have been re-animated much like Jeff Bridges had to be in the recent TRON film. Also, the images have been re-sized.

That's an interesting idea. Almost a call-forward to what was done in Luigi's Mansion later on. The movie and early scripts did seem to either predict or influence concepts later explored in the games, so I could see the sequels doing things before the games actually did.

Actually, Luigi's Mansion was a HUGE influence on my basic idea behind the plot of Lost Level. But, a substantial amount of storyline really carried more inspiration from Super Mario Land.

I'm glad to hear Super Mario Land came into play for your concept of one of the sequels considering how well that game plays into Princess Daisy's presence in the original. Still, I have to wonder how it would have inspired you since, in my opinion, the most that can be taken from it are the great landscapes.

Characters and levels had an influence. However, Boo and the whole capturing of Mario and Daisy was loosly based off of Luigi's Mansion.

I like it. Curious how a ghost plays into the parallel world concept, though.

I think to better explain my ideas/storylines behind the concepts I created, I'll put up short synopsis' of them underneath the casts.

Nah, I didn't plan any score soundtrack concepts. Though, I'm pretty sure I could do it. It would just take alot of thought to name songs Silvestri would do, you know? LOL
