Fan Works Forum Rules

As additions to the Fan Works forum are pretty common we've decided to outline a few rules to maintain organization. They should be very easy to follow so there's no excuse for breaking them.
* Fan works must be appropriate for all ages. A certain amount of mature themes, such as context-appropriate profanity, violence and seduction is allowed, but gratuitous profanity, violence, and explicit sex is not. Fan fiction and other written works get a little more leeway in this regard, but not by much.
* If you create one-off fan art with no intention of producing works in a similar vein or style then it must be posted in the SMB themed artwork topic. If you later decide to follow-up on a piece then simply let a moderator know and they will split the related posts into a new dedicated topic.
* If you create a fan work with the intention of producing more than you must create a dedicated topic. Specialized fan works such as a screenplay, fan fiction, comic, or specific type of fan work can have their own devoted topics.
Basically, keep things focused. We don't need or want a dozen different topics for things that could have been kept together.
