Fanmade "Thrilling" Super Mario Trailer
Here is a trailer I made for Super Mario Bros in an attempt to make it look like some sort of sci-fi thriller. I didn't know how "thrilling" I could make it, but here's the result

This is pretty good! Definitely better than the actual trailers for the film..which weren't that good. This fan made trailer is one of the best I've seen, it's epic, and tells a little info about the film without giving away the whole storyline...which a lot of trailers do.

It's fascinating to see the film focused on Daisy and her role in the story rather than on Mario and Luigi. Characterization in the film was unfortunately little to none, though Daisy probably came out ahead simply because of her unique role in the story. (They actually filmed a huge character arc for Mario & Luigi, but cut it before release)
She just has so much to offer the film and its entire premise, so it's almost preferable to having Mario and Luigi as the protagonists. In fact, the film's Japanese title is "Super Mario Bros.: Goddess of the Demon World," which acknowledges Daisy's role just as much as Mario and Luigi's. I'd be interested in seeing how the film might play out differently with her as the hero.

Koopa, thank you very much for that. I had a lot of fun with this, especially after someone gave me a dare to try and make the film look "epic." I actually didn't think I would be able to do that. I'm really glad you enjoyed it.
Redstar, I agree. After the finished product, I looked at it and thought, "That would be so much of a better story if they actually focused on Daisy since she is a huge key to the storyline." It's a shame really, but that's why we have these fanmade things

"Goddess of the Demon World"...
I like it! (Then again, it might be better suited to Lena.)

I'm really fond of this trailer/remake.
Like I said on the YouTube page, It's not that you made it "thrilling," per se, but you just shifted the focus of the trailer/story from Mario and Luigi to Daisy--and with marvelous results. Good job. I'd love to see another one, if you could figure up another angle.

I think it would look good from Koopa's point of view, as well. Maybe focus on his concern about the survival of his species.
What would you do without your big brother?
I'd like to give it a shot and find out.
