For a reboot, I'd love to see something similar to the Jennewein/Parker script that combines elements of Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. The cast would be as follows:

King Toadstool: Bill Nighy

I'm not really sure if this should count but it is a prequel to the movie and it's in that universe. Though if Redstar moves it, I'd understand. This is my dreamcast for my fan fic, The First Rebel.
