The title should be painfully obvious so I'll just go ahead and list my concepts:
Super Mario Brothers: A satirical farce inspired mostly by Brazil, this version would have the entire plot be a twisted game of capture and rescue. For you see in the Mushroom Kingdom it's a early tradition to have the Koopa kingdom kidnap the Princess and have some hero come after her. However the game itself is (big shock) freaking pointless and a real negative thing to occur. One everyone would literally stop their business just os they could watch this game which is being broadcast by a lakitu, and also the game may take more than 7 months or even longer to finish. Finally whenever the princess is rescued there might be a foul (like the hero used a warp zone or maybe used a game genie) in which the hero loses and is promptly killed leading the Mushroom Kingdom to find another hero.
Plus if the Princess were to try and escape she would also get the axe since a true princess does not do that. The film would begin on the most recent "Game" where a hero has just gotten and a new one is being searched for. Of course Mario and Luigi get picked and the adventure would be off. I'd discuss more plot points but this is already long as it is.
Kid Icarus: This film would be a throwback to films like Clash of the Titans and Jason and the Argonauts, complete with adventurous music (including remakes of the first game's soundtrack), technicolor, epic landscapes, an epic scope, and stop motion animation. The plot is in many aspects similar to the first game, in this world there are two main domains, the Sky World and the Underworld, ruled by Palutena and Medusa respectfully. One day an angel named Pit is given orders by Palutena to go to the Underworld and find 3 ancient relics. Little does Pit know that the orders were actually given by Medusa who, while Pit was gone, invaded the Sky World and enslaved Palutena.
During that, Pit eventually arrives at the underworld but before he realizes this was all a trap, he gets knocked out by an unknown force and is thrown deep into the Underworld. When he wakes up, Pit's first instinct is to contact the Sky World but that doesn't work out as Medusa had pretty much disconnected all ways of communication with the Sky World. Now on his own Pit then tries traveling up the Underworld while avoiding lots of monsters and other hellspawns that are in there. Eventually he comes across another traveller who claims to be looking for the 3 relics which Pit was looking for. Despite telling the traveller that the relics probably aren't even real, Pit agrees to go along as they both travel the underworld in search of the relics and a way out.
Punch-Out: Again, this would be an homage and sort of satire of a traditional sports movie. This movie would be about Doc Luis, a former champion who was defeated by another famous boxer named Mr. Sandman. When he founds out that the boxing association won't accept him anymore, Doc then decides to become a boxing trainer to train a boxing champion only to find out that no one wants to be trained by him. Until one day when he comes across a fairly short teen named Mac. Doc reluctantly agrees and, after nicknaming him Little Mac, trains him up to be a great boxer. Soon, after training hard, Little Mac enters the ring and easily starts going up the ranks, soon becoming an instant icon.
You get montages, fights, comedy relief, drama, fixed fights, bribery, and an added romance. Why? Merely for tradition.
