The Affiliates section of the site is unfortunately unfilled, which I believe is at least one factor in the low exposure our site has had. I think it would be a great help to our group and the future of the movie to reach out to other communities, which I've no doubt must have a scattered few SMB movie fans.
Phlibbit, have you taken the time to contact any sites devoted to Super Mario or movies in general (perhaps even cult status movies) about potential affiliation?
Suggestion: Affiliates
Re: Suggestion: Affiliates
Glad you're bringing this up.
When the site was in the early production stages, I did contact some of the other SMB game sites (like TMK) telling them my intentions.
I kept thinking maybe I would wait until the site was done before I really started doing the affiliates thing...but it's been like three years.
I wouldn't mind at all getting some more. Actually, we already have one: http://www.retrowhiz.com. I met the site's webmaster
the other day at the comic book store. He's just starting up too, but both sites kind of compliment each other. He already made an SMB Movie
Archive "affiliates" button and made us his first affiliate. I'm waiting for him to make a banner graphic for me to use on our page too. The cool
thing is that we got a small banner graphic out of the deal--I need to post that on the page too.
EDIT: If anyone has suggestion of good "affiliates" sites, please list/suggest them.

Re: Suggestion: Affiliates
I'm glad you've found yourself your first new affiliate. RetroWhiz looks like a fun site so I'm looking forward to following it through its development.
I'll look around later today and see if I can turn up any potential affiliates.
