This is Iggy and Spike! What's missing from this picture? That's right, they're gonna need some all terrain transportation to catch those plumbers and get the rock back!

I am looking into the best ways to construct this vehicle now, get some dimension ideas and whatnot. Any thoughts? I would have just done it out of wood except for the fact that it's metal and to get that look. I love dumb little projects like this :D I'd love to make a playset of the Devo Chamber or Dinohattan but I think I'll take on these ridiculously obscure and ambitious topics one at a time. :D Here's some fun info about the vehicle and other cars in the movie I found!

Not really much to report. Just starting to look at dimensions and stuff, VERY VERY rough cardboard mockup just to see what I was dealing with. Looking at it now I will be changing/refining the size after seeing this. I was thinking of how to do the metal look but may end up doing it just as solid wood if I don't find a workable material. Will go to Home Depot/Lowes to look into some ideas. I think I have some wheels from something I can cannibalize to use.

Luckily there doesn't look to be too much detail involved and every part is pretty much easily seen watching the movie. Like all SMB projects, this is probably going to go very slowly :D

I think I detected some sort of an insult in that comment. :P

lol I wondered if it would sound like that or not. Nah just I guess I know all too well with other projects I've taken on too with a lot of enthusiasm and then life and stuff just sort of happens.

I was talking to my wife about this and she said to try out either a Lowe's/Home Depot for a screen door mesh, or a craft store--they might have something a little finer mesh.
