Beavis and Butt-Head

Postby ultimateemail5000 » Mon Feb 06, 2012 3:54 am

I think this thread is long over due. I know it's late but I for one have been waiting one of those fans waiting the long 14 years for their return. For those who don't know them, Beavis and Butt-head started out as a short Frog Baseball which later spanned into a series. The moronic duo would get into mischief, laugh at their surroundings, and always watch music videos, they were the critics of what sucked and what was cool.

Now that they have returned, they do more than just watch music videos, criticizing Jersey Shore, UFC, movies, and even youtube videos. Watching the first new episodes of these guys was like seeing an old friend that hasn't been around for a while.

The new series is great and I suggest those who haven't seen any of them go to the site and watch all the new episodes to catch up, or if you're new to the series just give it a shot. You can find the new episodes at beavisandbutt-head.mtv.com . Its totally worth watching.

I once watched "Beavis and Butt-Head Do America" ten times in a row and found it funny every time-- it's a clever show.
What would you do without your big brother?
I'd like to give it a shot and find out.

I love the movie, but the draw back of it is that it feels like a long episode, whereas the South Park movie didn't feel like that. But Mike Judge said he intended to make it a long episode. The series I think is better.

I think the new episodes pick up where after the movie since their tv was broken at the end and they now have a new one. Even though new episodes at the time after the movie still used the same tv. I'm worried though that either Judge wanted to make one new season and end it, or todays generation just doesn't understand it and it will not continue. What with MTV just showing reality shows all the time now.

That's probably because South Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut was a musical, which was something I don't think anybody was really expecting. It was nominated for an Oscar-- Best Original Song for "Blame Canada."

Sadly they lost to Phill Collins Tarzaan crap. Still props to Matt and Trey for dressing up as Jennifer Lopez and he other girl celebrity. Hahaha.

I think it's funny how Beavis and Butt-head was a subject nobody would touch because it was so" bad" at the time, then South Park came along and people realised that BB wasn't such a bad show just really clever.

Beavis and Butt-Head and Daria were two shows that I never really watched but was aware of because my older brother and sisters watched them. Very weird shows that you can't fully appreciate until you're old enough to catch the clever subtext.

Since I haven't animated in a while and found the model sheets for Beavis and Butt-Head, I took an old episode music video segment and re-animated the shots of Beavis and Butt-Head talking. I didn't get them head banging cause I felt kinda rushed, enjoy, Beavis and Butt-Head watching Suicidal Tendencies
