Hi there, folks! I'm Carnivorous M., but you can call me Carnie, Carn, Carnivore, Meat-Eater, or the Moogle of Your Nightmares! I'm what they call a bit of an odd one, and I love writing, drawing, roleplaying, and discussing movies. My activity tends to be a bit sporadic, so don't be too alarmed if I disappear for a week or two (or a few) at a time.
My first real experience with the Super Mario Bros. Movie was about a year ago; my brother, during his search for a movie to watch for our weekend spork-fests, found this one and acquired it. At first when I was watching it, I was laughing and groaning and loudly proclaiming 'WHYYYYYY' along with Big Bro.
Then, about halfway through, I started getting this feeling that I'd seen this somewhere before, even though I didn't remember most of it. It got stronger and stronger, until suddenly I realized that I'd seen this movie once before when I was quite small. I watched it again once or twice, looked it up on the internet, found the Archive, and have slowly become a big fan of this weird, wild, colorful, wonderful and strange movie.
Looking forward to getting settled in,
~Carnie~

Carnivorous M., Reporting for Duty!
I can eat a cream cheese enchilada in less than five seconds!
Bear with me, I derp often and derp hard.
"Good idea; I bag her, you grab her." "No, I grab her, you bag her." "That's what I said." "...Exactly."

It's great to see you so enthused to become a member of our community! The film really has affected all of us in some way, with the strongest memories being vague recollections from a confused childish mind. It's a film that sticks with you as you get older, igniting your curiosity to revisit it in some way and finally see what it was all about.

Thank you both for the welcome! Sorry it took me a little while, my posting/updating schedule isn't terribly solid. ^^'
It's really awesome that way, isn't it? I love movies like that, when you get to see and understand all of the other angles and characters as well as the ones that stood out to you as a child. (Either way, 'confused' was a bit of an understatement for me, I'm afraid. XD)
I'll certainly check it out! And thanks, I'm glad you like it! This has been my 'net alias for years now, although the story of its creation is... odd, to say the least. I was a bit of a morbid child.
See y'all around!

No problem! Most of us are 18+, so between work, family and relationships we find that the weekends are the best time to really come together for discussions. Don't be surprised if you find us to not be very active until then.
May I ask what about the film drew you in so much as to inspire your highly passionate fan fiction?

Welcome aboard! I am the Mushroom Pope, the Mario Movie Zealot, I am Serum and I hope you help spread the word about this awe-inspiring film.
What would you do without your big brother?
I'd like to give it a shot and find out.
