8/27/12--Forum Enhancement Overhaul

In addition to the site overhaul we've decided to do some work on the forums to help enhance the community experience. We'd like everyone here to feel as welcome as possible and perhaps also reward those who have stuck with us for as long as they have.

With that in mind, here are some changes we have made:

* The site logo is now here on the forums. We may make tweaks over the coming weeks, but doesn't that look much better than the generic phpBB logo?

Check your profiles for the next two:

* See those stars? Members are now rewarded one star for each year that they have been an active member. Just a little something to show that we appreciate the support.

* A 'View Latest Post' option has been added, which allows users to see the exact topic you last posted in. This should make things a lot easier to follow.

So, what does everyone think? Is there anything you might like to see added or changed to the forums that might make you post more? We're open to suggestions!

I would like to see the logo more as a banner that stretches across the entirety of the top forums. It needn't necessarily be the site logo, either. What does everyone else think?

I really like the star system! It's nice to reward users who have been with us for even just a year.

I had no complaints before the minor overhaul, but even the small tweaks really make a difference that make me stop and just think, "huh, that's cool", and then move on. I also think that the whole star system is very cool as well and gives it a super mario type theme (which I also think thatbstars should have been incorporated into the movie).
