This page contains some really nice (and rare) Behind the Scenes photographs from people who worked on the movie.
Production Stills from David L. Snyder
This collection of production stills was graciously provided to us from David L. Snyder, the film's production designer. They offer a deeper look into how David and his team transformed the structure of an old cement plant into the sub-dimensional world of Dinohattan. Many photographs of scenes from the film are also on display here--some of them even better looking than what's in the film.
Behind the Scenes photographs from Amy L. Taylor
We recently got in contact with Amy L. Taylor, a makeup artist on the film who worked under Jeff Goodwin's unit. She was primarily responsible for John Leguizamo's makeup but she also worked on some of the other actors such as Fisher Stevens. Amy was kind enough to provide us a good amount of behind the scenes photographs from her experience on the film. The "on set" photos are here in this collection, and they give us one of our best collective looks at stars Bob Hoskins, John Leguizamo, and Samantha Mathis during production.
Behind the Scenes photographs from MEL
Our own Steven Applebaum was lucky enough to pay a visit to MEL (Makeup & Effects Laboratory) while there, he was able to see their studio, schedule an interview with the founders, and acquire a huge collection of photographs from the development, filming, and release of Super Mario Bros. The photos here are all the ones we have related to the on-set filming or production.
